What’s not to like about Dr Hugh Jones, he’s caring, friendly, puts you at ease and knows his stuff. He makes sure you understand the plan of treatment before you leave and will have a joke with you.

Dr Hugh Jones is a very positive doctor.He is full of cheer which comes across in all his encounters with his patients. He makes me feel at ease and his knowledge is vast , yet he is always listening to the patient. He doesn’t talk down to me and gives me positive feedback . He is a very good clinician and will go out of his way to assist me if I’m not keen on certain treatments. We are very lucky to have him as our Consultant I would like to see the Rheumatology team encourage people to manage their condition more independently, and be given help in managing their own condition . I look forward to coming to my appointments, and also seeing all the nurse clinicians under Mr Jones. Emily Galligan

Dr Jones made me feel really at ease from the moment I walked through his door. He was interested in what I had to say, very knowledgeable and completely focused on MY problem. He made me feel so at ease that I felt happy and comfortable talking completely openly about my issues and what was worrying me. I felt his suggestions and diagnosis were about ME and not a global opinion that might be applicable to all other patients. It is very rare to see someone at his level that you believe is actually interested in 'your' story and all he wants is the best for you and to see you improve and monitor your progress going forward. He actually bothered to see me more than once and did not pass me down to other colleagues. THANK YOU DR. JONES

Dr Hugh Jones has always been exceptional in supporting me in my rheumatoid arthritis and is proactive is suggesting in tailoring my drug therapy which has enabled me to have a quality of life which was very limited before seeing him. He is always also interesting in my emotional well-being and would highly recommend him in his very professional and warm approach.
